The second semester of our master program in Service System Design had started!
During the following months the students will work within the context of a new Cultural District in Copenhagen. They will design services to improve the residences’ community feeling and to enhance the urban vibrancy in the area. The project is a collaboration with Givrum who are developing the cultural district of Østerbro and Nordhavn.
Last week we had the privilege to meet with Nora Margherita Petersen who gave us a historic perspective of the area, Kenneth Gall who talked about cultural activity, Emilie Bernt Haag who presented the local governance and Jesper Koefoed-Melson who talked about the overall strategy. Later on we explored some inspiring Service Design projects from all over the world and ended up with a brainstorming activity.
We are looking forward to embarking with our students in this exciting process!
